20 Sep 2007 - 'High Fliers' visit St Modan's
19 September saw the visit of two Russian cosmonauts to St Modan's. Alexander Ivanchenkov and Natalya Dmitriyevna Kuleshova spent the morning sharing their exciting experiences with S3, S4, S5 and S6 pupils.
Their visit concluded with a Questions and Answers session in the school conference room and our guests were in-undated with many interesting questions from pupils .
The visit was arranged by Careers Scotland as part of the 20th Annual Planetary Congress which took place in Edinburgh from 17-21 September and was attended by around 100 astronauts and cosmonauts.
The sessions provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to gain an insight into the science of space & have their questions answered.
