General Rules

  

Certain rules are taken for granted in St Modan's.

 

 

All pupils at St Modan's must:

 

 

attend school regularly and attend on time;

 

 

 

 

 

take care of their own health and safety and do nothing to jeopardise the health and safety of others;

 

 

 

 

 

behave reasonably at all times in and around school and on the way to and from school;

 

 

 

 

 

show respect for teachers, other members of staff, other pupils and visitors;

 

 

 

 

 

accept the authority of all staff in the school.

Some Specific Rules 

 

Certain rules need to be specifically emphasised.

 

 

All pupils at St Modan's must:

 

 

help to keep the school litter and graffiti free;

 

 

take  care of books, jotters and other material & carry them in a suitable bag;

 

 

remain in  school at all times during the school day;

 

 

not run inside the school building;

 

 

treat members of staff & others with courtesy and respect;

 

 

wear the full school uniform;

 

 

use mobile phones appropriately & only at intervals / lunchtimes.

 

 

Permission to Leave a Lesson

 

 

Pupils should not ask out of class to visit the toilet.  In the absence of prior notification from parents, pupils who repeatedly ask out of class to visit the toilet will be deemed to be disrupting lessons.
