WHOLE SCHOOL TARGETS & UPDATE FOR SESSION 2006/07

 

The new targets are based on the Scottish Credit & Qualification Framework (SCQF). The change has been made to take account of the mix of STANDARD GRADE and ACCESS / INTERMEDIATE / HIGHER / ADVANCED HIGHER courses that our SQA candidates may be studying. What is the SCQF?

 

It details the full range of Scottish qualifications (i.e. in schools, colleges and workplaces) how they relate to each other as equivalences and also demonstrates progression routes for all candidates to fulfill their potential

 

 

The SCQF has 12 levels Including Ordinary University Degree (Level 9), Honours Degree (Level 10), and a Doctorate (Level 12). A secondary school deals with level 1 to level 7 as shown in the table below:
